This is it. The day were were waiting for. Advent kicks off the Christian year and my goal is to track it as closely as i can, especially the FEASTS because I love my kitchen and food really communicates to me. More later. Look forward to walking through this year with you.

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day, and ran across a cookbook by Robert Irvine (star of Dinner: Impossible on the Food Network). As I flipped through it, I ran across a bit where he said that so many of the most memorable moments of our lives involve food. Weddings, funerals, award celebrations... you name it. Found it interesting and wanted to share. And I, too, am looking forward to the food posts. I'm always on the prowl for good recipes. :-D
