Cantle with Jim McNeish

We spent last night with Jim McNeish at the House of Cantle. Really nice people and Jim is a perceptive, casual, really super nice guy. He does leadership training here at his fantastic house. Its an impressive house but actually, the casual atmosphere here makes it seem like home. All our kids got their own rooms last night. One of them was a Narnia themed room with sword, shield, and lampost. Oh yeah . . and a wardrobe.

Shannon Hopkins came up with us us but she's going to stay at Cantle and go through their highly acclaimed "How To Coach a Leader" course next week. She'll have a great time.

i'm jealous. i met jim several years ago and spent a bit of time together. we had a short car ride together, and he really spoke into my life. i have friends who have stayed at cantle, and i've always thought i would love to go to one of his training events.

...beautiful looking venue, Andrew.

The Narnia room is really lovely, but I was there mid-winter and opted for the warmer colors of Alba, the little heather and sage room at that same end of the house. Very cozy :-)

have a blast, and send shannon my love, (bea and abigal hijacked her monday post today--- so was just thinking and praying for her)

shalom, and all that love stuff,
