Well Cathryn remember that Andrew did post those mankini pictures, though he refused to pose in one. :)

Reading a very interesting book "Travel as a Political Act." In one chapter Rick Steves discusses the European versus American attitudes towards nudity. Very insightful and spot on. AND it's why I tell authors who come to the US to market their wares (esp. if geared to the "Christian" (read evangelical) market to be aware of this cultural shifts. Moves that wouldn't raise an eyebrow in Europe and the UK, would get one blackballed in the world of Americana Christianity. It's not being prudish - you've told me on more than one occasion to tone down my raunchy self - but being practical so one's message and not one's manners get the buzz.

A Christian health and development I worked with a while back, The International Nepal Fellowship or INF purchased the domain "inf.org" from the International Naturist Federation in 2002. According to the Communications Director they still get hits :-)

Do you have the original posting yo alluded too. I teach a psychology of religion class and would be interested in the discussion about old and new ideas of Christian and nudes.
