Winter Miserable

i think the winter has me in its grips. I have a chest cold, i feel gloomy, and there is only 4 hours of daylight up here. And my friends have all left a few days ago - yes - we had a lot of people over New Years, but they have all returned home.
Derek and Amy Chapman were due to arrive tonight but are postponing until next week. I fell OUT OF SEASON. Every been there? Of course its possible that i am grieving sympathetically for tens of thousands of families in SE Asia who have lost parents or children or brothers and sisters.
Needless to say, I don't feel like blogging today.
